With Enes Kanter out for the Boston Celtics on Saturday night, that can only mean one thing: It’s Tacko Time!

That’s right, two-way rookie Tacko Fall has been activated for tonight Celtics game against the Philadelphia 76ers, according to Jared Weiss of The Athletic. If he appears, which is likely, it will mark his fifth game of the season for the Celtics.

Fall has developed a devoted cult following during his pro career so far both in the G League and in the NBA, and his G-League numbers are certainly eye-opening. Fall is second overall in field goal percentage with a staggering 73.9 percent for the Maine Red Claws. While a monstrous percentage, he ranks second to Marcus Lee of the Sioux Falls Skyforce, who has a 74.2 field goal percentage.

Beyond his stellar finishing due to his immense size (7-foot-5, 8-foot-2 wingspan), Fall also employs that stunning length to great effect on the boards as he is 9th in overall rebounds per game in the G League at 9.9.

Fall is third in the G League in blocks per game with 2.8, which is second only to league leader Kenny Wooten of the Westchester Knicks with 3.6 and Christ Koumadje of the Delaware Blue Coats with 3.5.

Celtics fans (and basketball fans in general) adore Tacko Fall, and that showed during the fan voting portion of the buildup to the All-Star game. Fall hovered in the Top 10 for the entirety of fan voting, though in the end the 24-year-old rookie was sadly not voted in by players or coaches.
