Although much of the talk on the 2019 NBA Draft class has been about the New Orleans Pelicans' Zion Williamson, several other rookies have had their offseason moments as well, and one player who has become a fan favorite over the past couple of months is Boston Celtics big man Tacko Fall.

Fall went undrafted back in June and was signed by the Celtics to an Exhibit 10 contract. Although it is still unclear if he'll make the team's opening night roster, a lot of fans are already raving about the idea of him going up against Zion.

In an interview with MassLive.com's Tom Westerholm, Fall was asked about the possibility of going head-to-head with Williamson. The 7-foot-7 rookie praised this year's first-overall pick and said that the strategy to stopping Zion will all depend on head coach Brad Stevens.

“Zion is a heck of a player. He’s probably one of the most athletic people I’ve ever played against. I don’t know how his game is going to translate from college to pros. It’s definitely different, we have better athletes and things like that. But he’s a heck of a talent, so I leave that to coach and them to do the planning, and I’ll execute whatever they ask me to do.”

Fall also said that he'll be treating his matchup with Williamson the way he'll approach everybody else.

“Just be myself. I know I’m a great rim protector, and I know he likes to attack the rim. So it was just whoever was going to get the matchup. For me, I wasn’t going to back down regardless. I was just going to try to do my job.”

Williamson may be the odds on favorite to have a better career in the NBA, but Fall is also determined to prove himself. Now that he's one step closer to his dream, the Celtics' beanpole is going to do everything to show everyone that he belongs in the big league.
