According to Javier Maestro of Encestando and Orazio Cauchi of Sportando, NBA free agent Shane Larkin might be headed back overseas. Larkin is drawing serious interest from teams in Europe and if he can't figure out a deal with any NBA teams, overseas may be his best bet.

Larkin was drafted 18th overall in the 2013 NBA Draft, but after three years with four different teams (Dallas, New York, Brooklyn, Boston), the 25-year-old guard may be looking to head back to Europe.

Larkin spent the 2016-17 season with Baskonia and the Spanish side may be interested in bringing him back. In addition to Baskonia, Anadolu Efes and Maccabi Tel Aviv are also showing interest in Larkin.

The Miami Hurricanes product spent last season with the Boston Celtics after the team's backcourt was bitten by the injury bug. He even saw action in 11 different playoff games this season.

Larkin has never quite found a home in the NBA. Four teams in four years in the NBA is not great and his play has yet to warrant any team taking a chance on him long-term.

But he may be a natural fit in Europe. In 63 games in Europe during the 2016-17 season, Larkin averaged 13.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game. He's clearly talented enough to play in Europe and he's probably talented enough to thrive overseas.

Unfortunately, his NBA career may never quite pan out how he planned, but there's no shame in establishing one's self in Europe.
