Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens lashed out on one of the referees who gave Jayson Tatum a technical foul.

Peep the clip below posted by John Karalis of MassLive. According to Stevens, Tatum was simply waving at referee JT Orr. The referee, however, saw Tatum's antics as unnecessary and worthy of a technical foul.

The technical foul might have compounded to the team's frustrations. The scoreboard says it all. The Celtics are one of the most well-coached teams in the league. But on Tuesday, things weren't going well for them. The lead already ballooned to double figures and there were no signs of life from Stevens' crew.

Midway into the season, Stevens and the Celtics are still figuring things out. Though they will definitely make the playoffs, questions still linger as to whether this year's version of the Celtics will make it to the NBA Finals.

On paper, they are one of the most talented teams out there. But they've been stuck in the middle of the standings. And according to analysts, a team filled with talent and a great head coach should be at least in the top two of the Eastern Conference.

Some point to the lack of leadership and cohesiveness. Whatever's bothering the Celtics, they need to fix it now.
