TNT analyst Charles Barkley has been known to fire back at his critics from time to time. Of course, the Chuckster wasn't going to let the wise-cracking  Jayson Tatum get away with one after he took aim at his rather mediocre golf game.

The Hall of Fame forward joined a star-studded list of sports icons in Capital One's “The Match: Champions for Change” golf tournament on Friday.

As Chuck was seen strolling on the course, he responded to Tatum's sarcastic jab at Barkley's supposedly improved golf swing. Sir Charles then called out Tatum's lack of golf competition while inside the bubble, all the while taking shots at fellow retired players turned analysts Chris Webber and Steve Smith.

He also gave Jayson Tatum some good old ribbing after he recently signed a massive five-year, $195 million max contract extension with the Boston Celtics. Here's the light-hearted clip:

Apart from Charles Barkley, two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry is also participating in the tournament alongside two-time Super Bowl winner Peyton Manning. Joining them are professional golfers Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods.

Charles Barkley, meanwhile, has been an avid golfer since hanging up his sneakers for good in 2000. The beloved TV personality has been mocked for his substandard golf game in earlier years but looks like the Chuckster has indeed gotten better.

Barkley teamed up with Mickelson and actually defeated   “The Match 3” Curry and Manning in “Match 3” at Stone Canyon Golf Club in Oro Valley, Arizona. The unlikely duo took on an early lead and never looked back.

The two-on-two charity golf match was indeed a rousing success. Proceeds will go to historically Black colleges and universities and Feeding America.
