Newly drafted Boston Celtics forward Grant Williams is ecstatic about his new team. However, despite his excitement, the 20-year-old admitted that he is currently struggling with which number to use as he enters his rookie campaign this coming season.

This is a pretty funny anecdote from the former Tennessee standout who was selected 22nd overall by the Celtics. Boston is definitely one of the most storied franchises in the league, and having retired more than a few jersey numbers throughout their decorated history, it does seem difficult for new guys like Williams to choose from the remaining numbers that are still available.

However, the takeaway here is that Williams appeared to have exuded a genuine happiness with his current situation. Sure, all draftees were over the moon after they finally fulfilled their dream of getting the chance to play in the NBA, but we see in this brief clip that Williams is obviously extremely pleased that he has ended up in Boston.

As a matter of fact, the youngster is already talking about his desire to stay on with the C's for he long haul, stating how he hopes that this will be his team for the rest of his career. So early on, Williams is already more than willing to fully commit himself to the team, and this is definitely the type of statement the Celtics faithful love to hear.

In his final year for Tennessee last season, Williams put up 18.8 points (on 56.4 percent shooting), 0.4 three-pointers, 7.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.5 blocks in 31.9 minutes per contest.
