Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown finished the fastbreak by shaking off Portland Trail Blazers forward Jake Layman with an in-and-out move.

The 22-year-old Brown utilized a simple yet effective in-and-out move to get rid of Layman en route to a slam dunk finish, sending the TD Garden crowd to their feet.

In the replay, we can see that Jake Layman actually tried to draw an offensive foul. But Jaylen Brown was two steps ahead of him and countered Layman's attempt with a nifty move.

Brown has been one of the key players of the Celtics since he joined the team as the third overall pick in 2016. Entering Wednesday's showdown, he is averaging 12.7 points per game, 4.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists across 25.8 minutes per game.

Like most young players, Brown has been struggling to find consistency. There are games wherein he'll put up numbers right or way above his averages, but there are nights where he seemingly can't find the hoop.

The clip above, however, shows how much potential Brown has. Right now, he's one of the Celtics' key role players. A few years down the line, we shouldn't be surprised if Brown elevates his game to a whole new level.
