The Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks played an entertaining game on national television on Thursday night with the East-leading Bucks just edging the Celtics by a final score of 128 to 123. Despite taking the “L,” the Celtics’ Jayson Tatum completely bamboozled Brook Lopez of the Bucks with a striking usage of the famous “Smitty” fake as popularized by Steve Smith. Here’s the glorious clip.

While the Bucks did lead wire-to-wire in the contest, Jayson Tatum and the Celtics made it interesting late as they continued to whittle down Milwaukee’s lead as the game progressed. A 40-burger from Kemba Walker (on only 14 of 23 shooting) helped the Celtics’ comeback efforts, though the team was without sturdy young wing Jaylen Brown – who was out with a sprained right thumb in the game against the Bucks.

Along with this spicy move, Tatum finished with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists in 40 minutes.
