The Boston Celtics are exhibiting a flair for the dramatic in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Toronto Raptors.

Celtics point guard Kemba Walker drilled a 3-pointer to end the first half after a little bit of a scramble, giving Boston a 17-point lead entering the break:

Not to be outdone, Celtics swingman Jayson Tatum canned a tough jumper over Raptors guard Fred VanVleet at the end of the third quarter:

The Raptors came into the series as the best team in the NBA defending the 3-point shot, but the Celtics' efficiency has made the difference on Sunday.

Boston was 15-for-33 from beyond the arc at the start of the fourth quarter, while Toronto had made just eight of its 34 triples.

The Celtics led the Raptors by 15 points going into the fourth quarter, with Walker and Tatum both having strong performances. Boston still hasn't lost in the playoffs yet after sweeping away the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round.

This would be the Raptors' first loss of the playoffs if they can't come back to beat the Celtics in Game 1. The defending champs swept the Brooklyn Nets in the first round.
