The Boston Celtics are now on the verge of sweeping the Philadelphia 76ers after they held on for a 101-98 overtime victory on Saturday night to give them a commanding 3-0 series lead.

One particular play stood out to Celtics rising star rookie small forward Jayson Tatum late in the fourth quarter, even though it was an unsuccessful posterization attempt on Sixers star center Joel Embiid. That didn't stop Tatum from mouthing some words to Embiid after the play.

“You got lucky,” Tatum said while looking back at Embiid. “You got lucky.”

Embiid did indeed get lucky that Tatum didn't throw down a huge and-one dunk on his head, which would have definitely avenged the monster poster dunk Embiid had earlier in the game on Celtics center Aron Baynes.

The 20-year-old rookie forward continued his stellar postseason in Game 3 with a game-high 24 points on 11-of-17 shooting from the field, five rebounds, and four assists in 41 minutes of action.

“You grow up envisioning yourself in these moments,” Tatum said after the game. “It came faster than I thought but I felt like I put the work in and earned their trust and you’ve got to make something happen when you do.”

Tatum's postgame press conference alongside Celtics teammate Al Horford, which was posted on YouTube by the official NBA channel, can be viewed below.

Following their back-and-forth Game 3 victory over the Sixers, the Celtics will look to sweep Philly in Game 4 on Monday night and advance to their second straight Eastern Conference Finals appearance, which will very likely be against superstar forward LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
