Marcus Smart of the Boston Celtics was not intimidated by the shot-blocking ability of Joel Embiid, knowing that the Philadelphia 76ers big man had five fouls.

Check out the clip below posted by NBA on TNT. Once Smart got away from Ben Simmons, he dashed his way to the rim for a slam. He knew that Embiid wasn't going to challenge his shot. After all, the 76ers need his presence with under 30 seconds left in a close game.

The dunk gave the Celtics a comfortable cushion, 108-104. As the game progressed, Smart's dunk proved vital as the 76ers managed to sneak in points to make it a one-point game. Fortunately, for the Celtics, the 76ers were not able to take the lead despite the opportunities. The Kyrie Irving-less Celtics won the game, 112-109.

The match-up might be a preview of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Celtics proved once again that even without their best player on the court, they can still sneak in a victory over one of the best teams in the NBA. Take note that the 76ers now have four All-Star caliber players in their line up.

Gordon Hayward put forth his best game in his comeback season with 26 points, 8-of-11 from the field, and 6-of-7 from downtown. Al Horford and Jayson Tatum dropped 23 and 20 points, respectively.
