Los Angeles Chargers tight end Antonio Gates thinks that the team has a chance to gets its revenge on the Baltimore Ravens in Sunday's AFC Wild Card matchup.

The two teams will square off at M&T Bank Stadium in a rematch from the Week 16 clash in Los Angeles, where the Ravens were able to go on the road and earn a huge 22-10 victory over Anthony Lynn's squad.

Now, the Chargers will attempt to return the favor with much bigger stakes on the line.

That has Gates excited about the possibilities ahead for the team, and he hopes that his contributions will be enough to send Los Angeles to the next round.

Here's what Gates had to say about the upcoming game, courtesy of Chargers managing editor Ricky Henne:

“Baltimore is a good team,” he said.” A very good football team with a good defense. We get a chance to redeem ourselves. Me personally, I get a chance because I fumbled the ball at the end. That absolutely motivates me. I always go about my business in a professional manner. To me, it was all about letting the team down more so than it was about me getting over it. And now I have that chance to help this team get a win this time.”

Gates has 28 receptions for 333 yards and two touchdowns this season and given his experience in the league; he'll continue to be someone that quarterback Philip Rivers can rely on in key situations in the postseason.

The Chargers will look for their first playoff win since the 2013 season, as they were able to beat the Cincinnati Bengals before losing to the Denver Broncos in the divisional round.
