Los Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley gave praise to the Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin on Wednesday.

According to Fernando Ramirez of Sports Illustrated, Staley said,

“Well, number one, there's not another guy that I have more respect for in the league… He was the youngest head coach at the time to win a Superbowl… When I went to my interviews last year, a lot of people are asking me like ‘who do you pattern your game after?' and Mike Tomlin was at the top of my list… I saw a lot of myself in him.”

The Chargers head coach spoke very highly of the Steelers head coach before they face off. The Chargers are 5-4 on the season and will host the 5-3-1 Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Neither team has played well the past few weeks so this will definitely be an interesting game. The Chargers are coming off an ugly loss that they lost 27-20. Pittsburgh is also coming off a disappointing week as they tied the 0-8-1 Detroit Lions.

This is a huge game for both the Chargers and the Steelers as they are both playoff contenders and have to win most of their games moving forward if they want a chance to win their division.

It's going to be a highly competitive game and both coaches clearly have a lot of respect for each other. Both teams are looking to bounce back after ugly performances last week with a win.
