The Los Angeles Chargers could use all of the firepower they can get to defeat the 7-1 Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Luckily, they appear to be getting some. The organization took their No. 1 wide receiver Keenan Allen off of the injury report on Friday. He practiced in full on both Thursday and Friday.

Allen has been dealing with a lingering hamstring injury — as is the nature of the ailment. However, he did not miss any games. On the season, the two-time Pro Bowler has 51 receptions for 617 yards and a trio of touchdowns. On Sunday, he is hoping to break a touchdown-less streak that dates back to Los Angeles' Week 3 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Last week, while dealing with the hamstring injury, Allen caught seven of his 10 targets for 53 yards in a close win over the Chicago Bears.

Though Allen has failed to find the endzone as of late, the Chargers should be elated to receive their No. 1 pass-catcher back in full action. He is Philip Rivers' favorite target, which is obvious considering the run he has been on as of late. In 2018, he caught 97 Rivers-thrown passes for 1,196 yards and six touchdowns. In the year before, he won 2017 NFL Comeback Player of the Year, as he reeled in 102 catches for 1,393 yards and six touchdowns after tearing his ACL in 2016.

In addition to Allen, defensive tackle Cortez Broughton (illness) is out for Sunday's matchup. Defensive tackle Justin Jones (shoulder), nose tackle Brandon Mebane (knee), and safety Roderic Teamer (groin) are doubtful.
