The Cleveland Browns have generated plenty of hype with the acquisition of former New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. this offseason. Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen has taken note.

The Browns could potentially be another AFC rival for the Chargers this season. Keenan Allen said during an appearance on UNDISPUTED that he expects Beckham to take on a major role in the offense moving forward:

“I think he'll do great. He's the No. 1 receiver so he's going to get the ball,” Allen said. “Baker's great. They have Jarvis out there. He'll still have the attention, he is Odell, but Jarvis will minimize a bit of it.”

It is safe to say that Keenan Allen is part of the vast majority of outside figures expecting big things from the Browns' offense in the 2019 NFL season. They enjoyed a resurgence in the 2018 campaign while their core young talent was still finding their footing. The expectations are now as high as ever with the arrival of Odell Beckham.

He is presumably expected to serve as the No. 1 option in the passing game. Odell Beckham and his good friend Jarvis Landry certainly have the talent to establish themselves as one of the NFL's premier receiving duos. Keenan Allen would not disagree.

Odell Beckham will undoubtedly continue to draw most of the attention from opposing defenses; however, Landry's presence should keep the secondary honest. The onus will be on Mayfield and head coach Freddie Kitchens to make it come to fruition in 2019.

Keenan Allen would agree with that claim as well.
