A tough season continued for the Los Angeles Chargers, losing to the Denver Broncos 23-20 in the teams eighth loss of the season. The Chargers have lost all eight of their games by a combined score of 39 points, and all games were decided by one score.

It is a complete switch from last season when the Chargers won seven of eight games decided by one score. Some of the teams losses have been in heartbreak fashion, such as fumbling at the goal line against the Tennessee Titans, pass interference in the waning seconds of a game heading to overtime that led to a game-winning field goal against the Denver Broncos, and multiple game-ending interceptions by Philip Rivers.

Rivers' starting quarterback status is under fire since the teams downfall this year after going to the AFC Divisional Round last season, with many speculating that backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor will soon be inserted into the starting lineup.

Even if the Chargers win out, the team will be 8-8 and have an extremely slim chance of making the playoffs.

Los Angeles will head across the country to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 14.
