Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Tyrod Taylor was spotted working out in his new helmet for the 2020 season, giving fans a peek at L.A.'s new look ahead of this fall.

The helmet looks eerily reminiscent of the LaDanian Tomlinson era, which as the last time the Chargers sported this look.

Of course, Taylor's personalized look comes fully equipped with the visor.

The Chargers are banking on Taylor's history with head coach Anthony Lynn as they head into training camp. Lynn and Taylor worked together in Buffalo, where Taylor made a Pro Bowl and led the Bills to a 22-20 record in four seasons.

Taylor began the 2018 season as the starter for the Cleveland Browns before giving way to No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield. He spent last year as the backup to Philip Rivers.

The 30-year-old is a weapon at the quarterback position because of his mobility in the pocket and familiarity with run-pass options. Los Angeles believes Taylor can help the Chargers win while they groom first-round draft choice, Justin Herbert.

Then again, perhaps Lynn will throw another wrinkle into the mix.

Lynn said last week he believes Colin Kaepernick would be a fit for the Chargers' offense and said the former San Francisco 49ers star is on the team's radar. For now, however, the starting job appears to be Taylor's to lose.

The Chargers hope added athleticism at the quarterback spot, and a healthier defensive unit will result in more wins this season. Taylor will be under the microscope as L.A. looks to get back to the playoffs in 2020.
