The Los Angeles Chargers once again lost in heartbreaking fashion.

On the final play of the game, rookie quarterback Justin Herbert tossed it into the end zone to Donald Parham Jr., who appeared to have made a spectacular catch to win the game for L.A., but a review would reveal the ball popped out of his hands before the end of the play, negating the catch and finishing the game in devastating fashion for the Chargers.

This is not the first time the Chargers lost a game in the last moments of the game. Last week against the Denver Broncos the Chargers had the opposite happen to them, with the Broncos driving down the field and scoring the game-winning touchdown as time expired.

The Chargers also lost to the Saints a few weeks ago after leading 20-3 in the first half.

While Justin Herbert has had some strong moments in his rookie season, it will be marred by the disappointing results of many of the Chargers games this season, all too familiar like the Philip Rivers era, too.

Only time will tell how Los Angeles look while rebounding from all of these devastating losses.
