Loudmouthed TNT analyst Charles Barkley got together with radio personality Dan Patrick to discuss the NBA and the NCAA tournament taking place throughout the better part of this weekend. Upon congratulating Patrick for his continued success, Barkley dropped a shocking nugget that is bound to have some serious repercussions — saying that if he were to be diagnosed with a terminal disease, he'd kill FOX Sports 1's Undisputed co-host Skip Bayless on live national television.

“You know what we should do for ratings? I see you got all these TVs on. If I get a disease and I'm gonna die, how about you get Skip Bayless in here and I'll kill him live on national television,” Barkley told Patrick as he prepared to wrap up the show.

“I like it. Like pay-per-view,” Patrick said.

“No, no, no. Just get him in here,” Barkley quickly interjected. “Only when I know I'ma die… 'cause I just want to get Skip Bayless in a room one time and beat him like a dog.”

“So you'd kill him?” Patrick said.

“Only if I knew I was gonna die,” said Barkley. “Not if I'm gonna live, I don't wanna be in prison. as [Rick] Mahorn said ‘they would love you in prison' (laughs).”

Barkley and Bayless have a long story of vehemently disagreeing with each other's views, but this has taken things from discord to potential lawsuit in his hands.

While Sir Charles makes a living of giving his opinion and delving into subject most analysts don't dare to, this comment, albeit a joke to him — can easily result in a sanction from the network to avoid further problems and potential litigation.

Surely Bayless will have his opportunity to fire back on this next week through his show or even earlier than that through the FOX Sports 1 airwaves.
