Romelu Lukaku secured a big-money move to Chelsea in August but it appears that he isn't happy with the current situation under manager Thomas Tuchel.

The Belgian international recently spoke to Sky Sports about life at Stamford Bridge and his future plans. By the sounds of it, he isn't keen on staying with the Blues for the distant future.

Via Fabrizio Romano:

“Physically I am fine. But I'm NOT happy with the situation at Chelsea. Tuchel has chosen to play with another system – I won't give up, I'll be professional. I am not happy with the situation but I am professional – and I can't give up now.”

“Now it's the right time to share my feelings. I have always said that I have Inter in my heart: I know I will RETURN to Inter, I really hope so. I am in love with Italy, this is right moment to talk and let people know what really happened,” the Chelsea frontman continued.

Lukaku just returned from injury and a bout with COVID-19, scoring in back-to-back Premier League appearances for the Blues. However, at Inter, he was used to having a strike partner up top in Lautaro Martinez. At Chelsea, Tuchel is opting to use Lukaku as the lone option in a 3-4-2-1 formation. This is clearly not to the liking of the 28-year-old. He excelled most with Martinez alongside him, forming one of the best duos in world football and firing Inter to a Scudetto.

Based on his words, it's clear that Romelu Lukaku wants to reunite with Inter at some point. After all, he became an all-around attacker with the Nerazzuri thanks to the guidance of Antonio Conte, who is now in charge at Spurs.

In 18 appearances across all competitions for Chelsea, Lukaku has found the back of the net just seven times. Perhaps Tuchel should explore a system with two strikers to really get the most out of Lukaku's abilities in the final third.
