Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill had a humorous back-and-forth with ESPN's Adam Schefter last week, which included Hill challenging Schefter to a race for charity.

Hill offered to give Schefter a 40-yard head start while also saying he would wear full pads. True to his nature as a reporter, Schefter came up with the perfect retort. He said “sources” informed him not to accept the challenge and came up with another idea.

Schefter said he will, in fact, take the race since it is for charity. Nonetheless, it was a fantastic response that encompassed his media celebrity:

Not many people would likely want to challenge Tyreek Hill to a race. The two-time All-Pro is one of the fastest players in the NFL. His nickname is “Cheetah,” after all.

In fact, not many cornerbacks want to challenge Hill this year.

The 26-year-old ranks second in the NFL in receiving yards (1,021) and first in touchdown receptions (13). Hill has been one of the most explosive weapons on a loaded Kansas City offense this season, and he is also coming off a historic performance.

Hill torched the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a whopping 203 yards and two touchdowns in the first quarter alone during last weekend's win over Tampa Bay. He repeatedly burned the Bucs secondary and also had some jokes for the fans:

Kansas City is rolling right along at 10-1, with Hill's explosiveness and big-play ability underscoring just how dangerous the Chiefs are on offense.

The Chiefs will hope Tyreek Hill continues to produce instant offense, and they will also pray the star wideout does not somehow embarrass himself by losing to Schefter.
