Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid tied Hall of Fame coach Curly Lambeau with 226 career regular season wins, tied for the 5th most in history.
Following the victory over Green Bay Sunday, Andy Reid tried giving the game ball to Clark Hunt, the owner of the Chiefs. It was Kansas City's 500th win in franchise history. However, Hunt handed it back to him pointing to the statistic with Reid and Lambeau.

Following Sundays 13-7 win over the Green Bay Packers, Reid now looks up at only Don Shula, George Halas, Bill Belichick and Tom Landry for most wins in the regular season. They have 328, 318, 285 and 250 wins respectively.
Obviously, Belichick is also still adding wins to his total.
Andy Reid had been considered a Hall of Fame coach for a long time. But he never had the championship to cement his legacy. That ended two seasons ago when the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV.
That was also the first Super Bowl the Chiefs organization had won since 1970.
Reid worked for seven years under Mike Holmgren as a tight ends and quarterbacks coach. He turned that into a head coach position with the Philadelphia Eagles in 1999. He led the Eagles to four consecutive NFC Championship games from 2001-2002 through 2004-2005.
Despite consistent success in Philadelphia, he could never get them over the top.
In 2013, Reid took the job as head coach of the Chiefs. A few years later they drafted Patrick Mahomes, and the rest is history.
Any time your name is mentioned with the likes of Curly Lambeau, you must have done something special. All football fans should appreciate his consistency and commitment to excellence. Everyone knows, his players sure do.
