Fans were treated to a tightly contested affair between the top two teams of the AFC West in Week 11 proceedings. The Kansas City Chiefs found themselves trailing in crunch time against the Las Vegas Raiders, but quarterback Patrick Mahomes rifled a 22-yard touchdown pass to tight end Travis Kelce for the game-winning score in the final minute.

The Chiefs went 75 yards in just 1:15 on the final drive to win the game after taking over with just under two minutes to play. When he was asked about possibly settling for a field goal to send the game to overtime instead, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid gave the perfect response:

The 2018 NFL MVP had another monstrous performance amid a back-and-forth encounter, recording 348 passing yards on 34-of-45 passes to go with two passing touchdowns. Kelce led Kansas City with 127 receiving yards on eight receptions and a touchdown, while wideout Tyreek Hill contributed 102 yards on 11 catches and a score in the game.

Raiders gunslinger Derek Carr bannered the opposition with his 275 passing yards and three touchdown passes, but it still wasn't enough to secure the victory for his team. A scoreless third quarter proved to be pivotal for the Raiders, and they left too much time at the end for Mahomes and Co. to march down the field and score.

The reigning Super Bowl champions now have themselves a bigger lead in the divisional standings, sitting atop with a 9-1 record. Oakland is in second place with a 6-4 record.

Strong trust and chemistry between Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes will have to come in full effect once again as they face the streaking Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 12 action. This could be a Super Bowl preview and should be a fun one.
