Patrick Mahomes is the newest budding star in the NFL and has led the Kansas City Chiefs to a 4-0 record so far this season. They are one of just two teams with an undefeated record entering Week 5, with the Los Angeles Rams being the other. As of right now, Mahomes has been hearing his name mentioned as a potential MVP candidate early in the season.

Even though Mahomes is putting up big numbers and is turning into a star before his eyes, head coach Andy Reid is not above making fun of him. Reid was asked how he would describe Mahomes' voice and he had a hilarious response, as shared by Brooke Pryor of the Kansas City Star.

Mahomes' voice has been a tool used by his teammates and coaches to keep him grounded. Reid is also the best at imitating the young quarterback's voice.

Throughout the first four games of the season with the Chiefs, Mahomes has put up monstrous numbers. He has completed 65.2 percent of his pass attempts for 1,200 yards, 14 touchdowns, and no interceptions. Mahomes has also rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown.

Moving on from Alex Smith in the offseason was a move that was questioned by quite a few fans and media members. Smith had one of the best seasons of his career last season and Mahomes was an unproven player.
