Andy Reid is known for his playoff flops, but on Saturday afternoon, he coached the Kansas City Chiefs to a 31-13 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in the Divisional Round and won a whole lot of respect from his players.

During the win, Reid went for it on fourth down three times with running back Damien Williams and converted on all three occasions.

Afterward, Williams said that Reid's gutsy calls were an example of his trust in the team:

“When you have a coach of that caliber, all you can do is give it your all,” said Williams, via Brooke Pryor of The Kansas City Star. “He's letting you know he trusts us, so we're gonna go out there and finish the job.”

And finish the job Williams did.

The 26-year-old had a monster game against the Colts, racking up 129 yards and a touchdown while averaging 5.2 yards per carry. In addition, he hauled in five receptions for 25 receptions.

For comparison's sake, Williams rushed for just 256 yards and four touchdowns on the season, catching 23 passes for 160 yards and a couple of scores.

Williams, who played his collegiate football at the University of Oklahoma, went undrafted but signed with the Miami Dolphins as a free agent in May 2014.

He spent the first four years of his career with the Dolphins, totaling three rushing touchdowns overall. He was mostly utilized in the passing game, where he reached the end zone six times.

The Chiefs will move on to the AFC Championship Game to battle the winner of Sunday's Divisional Round matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and the New England Patriots.
