The Kansas City Chiefs are pulling for beleaguered wide receiver and kick return specialist Tyreek Hill.

Retired Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe told TMZ Sports on May 19 the team is “pulling for” Hill.

When I talk to guys on the team, they're still rooting for him. They're pulling for him.

He's a good guy. I've met him. I really don't believe all the things I hear on the internet and in the news.

According to TMZ, the current Chiefs players share Bowe's sentiments – they're not going to change their stance on Hill once the facts come out.

Bowe also told TMZ he doesn't see the controversy surrounding Hill affecting the Chiefs in the 2019 NFL season. He said the team looked great when he showed up at practice last week.

The Chiefs banned Hill from all team activities indefinitely in the wake of Hill's controversy, per ESPN's Adam Teicher. Last March, Kansas City television station KCTV aired an 11-minute audio file allegedly involving Hill, his fiancee Crystal Espinal, and their three-year-old son.

In the recording, a female voice is asking the male voice what happened to the child's broken arm. The toddler replied, “Daddy did it.” The boy also said, “Daddy punches me,” per ESPN.

KCTV said the recording took place while the couple was walking through Dubai International Airport. However, the station didn't disclose a date, per Teicher.

It's good to know Bowe and the Chiefs organization are behind Hill in this ordeal. Until the truth surfaces, they consider him innocent. Hopefully, the truth will come out sooner than later so Hill can resume his once-promising NFL career.
