The Kansas City Chiefs incurred an injury to their offensive line on Friday. After practice, head coach Andy Reid notified the media that left tackle Eric Fisher suffered a groin injury during the practice, via B.J. Kissel. He is questionable for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders.

“Fish hurt his groin here just a little bit here,” said Reid, via SBNation's Pete Sweeney. “They’re going to take a peek at that, see how he is doing… I’m just going to see how it checks out. We took him out when he hurt it.”

Fisher would later go in for further evaluation before practice finished. Kansas City has to release an injury report for Sunday's game, but Fisher will be featured on it. Whether or not he'll play is unknown, as Reid remains mum on the subject somewhat.

Currently, the Chiefs list Cam Irving as the backup swing tackle; he'll likely fill-in if Fisher is out.

Fisher and the offensive line helped the Chiefs beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 40-26 in Week 1, yet they didn't look like their usual selves. Patrick Mahomes came down with an ankle injury, and three quarterback hits in the season opener.

“You don’t want him to get hit at all,” Reid said on Wednesday, via HutchPost. “That’s the objective. In some cases, we have to just do better. I have to do a better job putting the guys in the right position. When there, they have to make sure that they pick them up. That’s how it goes. We try to keep him clean the whole game.”

If Fisher is out, he will join WR Tyreek Hill as Chiefs Pro Bowlers not to play in Sunday's long-lasting AFC West rivalry.
