Kansas City Chiefs speedster Tyreek Hill has been given a lot of compliments since he entered the NFL but probably none better than the praise Jerry Rice gave him Thursday comparing him to the then-Los Angeles Raiders legend, Bo Jackson.

Rice appeared on the Sept. 13 edition of The Simms and Lefkoe Podcast with Chris Simms and Adam Lefkoe and was asked about things that stuck out in week one of the NFL. Rice said Hill impressed him and on one of the plays his speed reminded of Jackson.

“He’s not the typical guy, but you have to double this guy,” Rice said of Hill. “He’s so fast. It was during a play he reminded me a lot of Bo Jackson. I remember Bo Jackson running down the sidelines I think it was against the Seattle Seahawks or something like that. It was like everyone else, they were standing still. Hill, he’s the same way. He’s just as fast. Teams are going to have to double this guy and try to take him out of the game.”

Rice wasn't comparing the rest of the games, and that would be disrespectful to Jackson, one of the best of all time. Hill is a speedster, and it's what allows him to get open and has helped make him the favorite target of quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Hill finished the game against the Los Angeles Chargers with seven receptions for 169 yards and two touchdowns including a long reception of 58 yards. Hill is going to be a mismatch for most teams this year and look for more games like the first one.
