Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill will not be suspended by the NFL for child abuse allegations that surfaced earlier this offseason, as the case was eventually thrown out.

Now that Hill is officially back in the fold in Kansas City, the Chiefs are happy to have him back:

“We have been informed of the decision by the National Football League that, based on the available evidence, the league has not found that Tyreek Hill violated the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy,” the Chiefs said in a statement, per Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk.

“Based on the information provided to us by the league, we have decided it is appropriate for Tyreek to return to the team at the start of training camp. The club fully supports the conditions for return laid out by the league and will continue to monitor any new developments in the case. We are glad to welcome Tyreek back to the team and look forward to the start of training camp next week.”

It should be noted that Hill's return is conditional, as he will have to undergo what NFL commissioner Roger Goodell termed a “clinical evaluation” as well as “therapeutic intervention.”

Chiefs veterans are due at training camp next Friday, and barring unforeseen circumstances, Hill should be in attendance.

The 24-year-old is coming off of a 2018 campaign in which he hauled in 87 receptions for 1,479 yards and 12 touchdowns en route to a Pro Bowl appearance and a First-Team All-Pro selection.

Hill, who entered the league in 2016, has made the Pro Bowl in each of his first three seasons, notching First-Team All-Pro honors twice to boot.
