The Kansas City Chiefs have signed a few of their marquee players this offseason and now they are rewarding the other vital members of the organization. According to the NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Chiefs have secured Andy Reid and GM Brett Veach to six-year deals.

Earlier this offseason, the Chiefs began their run of extensions when they handed Patrick Mahomes a historic 10-year extension. Mahomes has a chance to make $503 million in his new 10-year deal and became the highest-paid athlete in sports history.

After getting a deal finalized with Mahomes, Kansas City would proceed to sign Chris Jones to a four-year, $85 million contract. Then, following George Kittle's lucrative deal with the San Francisco 49ers, the Chiefs gave Travis Kelce a four-year extension.

Coming off of the franchise's first Super Bowl victory since 1969, the team now is taking care of their head coach and GM. In his seven seasons with the Chiefs, Reid has led the team to a 77-35 record.

While he's been regarded as a remarkable coach with both the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City, the one knock on his resume was his lack of a Super Bowl ring. Now, with a Super Bowl win under his belt, he should be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame when he retires.

On the other hand, Veach has been the GM of the Chiefs since the 2017 season. Upon arriving in Kansas City, Veach's first draft pick as the GM was Mahomes.

Despite the team's apparent lack of cap space, the Chiefs haven't hesitated to take care of their vital players this offseason. At the same time, fans will be ecstatic to see Reid and Veach remain at their positions through the 2025 season (at the least).
