The No Fun League is back in full force in 2021. As the NFL cracks down on its anti-taunting policies, fans and teams are paying the consequences. The latest victims were the Kansas City Chiefs, who were issued a 15-yard penalty after Clyde Edwards-Helaire pointed at an opposing player.

Edwards-Helaire received a pitch from Patrick Mahomes on a read-option and had a clear path to the end zone. Before scoring, he pointed at Cowboys linebacker Luke Gifford, which was apparently enough for the referees to bring out the penalty flags.

The point looked innocent enough, but in the eyes of the NFL, it was an unacceptable gesture. Fortunately, the Chiefs were able to convert on what became a 48-yard extra point attempt, extending their lead over the Cowboys to 16-3.

Edwards-Helaire and the Chiefs have every right to be confused and irritated by the call from the officials. One more taunting call for the running back would result see him removed from the game, so he's going to have to keep a cool head the rest of the way.

We've seen vastly more outlandish touchdown celebrations this season, but because Edwards-Helaire taunted the opposing player with his finger point, he was penalized 15 yards. Seems a bit excessive. The second-year running back out of LSU will be hesitant to even glance at the Cowboys' defense if he's able to score again.

The run was Edwards-Helaire's first rushing touchdown of the season and his third TD overall. He'll wish he didn't lose his team 15 yards, but we're sure he's satisfied with the score.
