Now that we're just a few days away from NFL fee agency, the prospects are heating up about what will happen to folks like Landon Collins.

According to CBS Sports, Collins — like Antonio Brown, whom we'd previously reported would have a new NFL home by Friday — is a hot property on the free agency market. And since the Giants have decided not to give him the franchise tag before the March 5 deadline, agents can begin negotiations on March 11th.

And he's already got the lineup of potential suitors — a true embarrassment of riches — but CBS Sports is reporting that of all the teams that are interested in Landon Collins, the Kansas City Chiefs are the top contenders.

“The Chiefs will need to get creative if they hope to land Collins. However, sense around the league during the NFL Combine is that Collins would be among Kansas City’s prime targets if he reached free agency. After reportedly releasing Justin Houston, the Chiefs would create $14 million in additional cap space this offseason. General manager Brett Veach could essentially swap Houston for Collins and pair him alongside Eric Berry. Familiarity with defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo could also help lead Collins to Kansas City. It is no secret that the Chiefs aim to bolster their defense this offseason, and Collins would push them closer to reaching the Super Bowl.”

It will be interesting to see if Landon Collins ultimately signs with the Chiefs, or if he decides to court other professional teams in his quest.
