It was reported Thursday that Kansas City Chiefs running back LeSean McCoy was a full go in practice after dealing with an ankle injury. McCoy proved to be productive last week against the Lions as he was able to get into the end zone while filling in for Damien Williams.

In a game that failed to see a Patrick Mahomes touchdown, Shady had his best game since becoming a member of the Chiefs, including being on the receiving end of a Travis Kelce hook and ladder.

After a disappointing 2018 season with the Buffalo Bills, McCoy is having a nice rebound season all while sharing a backfield with Williams. Since the departure of Kareem Hunt who served as the Chiefs' primary back, Kansas City's decision to have a running back by committee seems to be working well.

Leaning on the shoulders of MVP Patrick Mahomes doesn't seem like the worst idea either. The Chiefs are still waiting on the return of their most dynamic playmaker, besides Mahomes, in Tyreek Hill who has been out since Week 2.

With McCoy healthier, Williams being a full go at practice today as well, and the return of Hill looming, Kansas City will seemingly be at full strength soon which is scary to think about.

Mahomes possesses the talent to carry the team if needed but with a bugging ankle injury, he wouldn't mind having his load lightened a bit.
