Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman made an incredible grab against the New Orleans Saints Sunday afternoon, reeling in a pass along the sideline to put his team back on top.

Only his third touchdown reception on the year, Hardman looked as though it was taken out of the playbook of teammate Tyreek Hill, who usually fills the highlight reel with his own incredible touchdowns.

Check out how Hardman stole the spotlight:

Coming on a pass in which Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was forced to roll to his left, the catch initially looked as if it would be incomplete–fired away by the QB to avoid a pass rush. Upon a second look, however, it was clear that Hardman had gained possession of the football before running out of bounds, all while still maintaining the spatial awareness to drag his back foot across the turf.

Since gaining a six-point advantage following the touchdown, the Chiefs maintained their lead late in the fourth quarter and eventually won 32-29.

With both teams vying for the No. 1 seed in their respective conferences, the match was a highly anticipated one entering Sunday, especially given the explosive offenses both squads feature. Even when it wasn't the usual suspects that provided the highlights, the Chiefs and Saints didn't disappoint.
