Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill finished fourth in the NFL in receiving yards last season with 1,479. After an offseason marred by off the field issues — once potentially leading to a cut — Hill is back in Kansas City practicing and showing improvement despite missing considerable time. NFL analyst for Arrowhead Pride and 610 Sports K.C. Pete Sweeney visited Chiefs training camp, and left very impressed by Hill.

Sweeney's observation comes days after Hill was carted out of practice due to a leg injury caused by cornerback Bashaud Breeland. The injury isn't serious considering Hill has played since.

Hill has a fair amount going his way to lead the NFL in receiving yards. He's the No. 1 receiver in a potent Chiefs offense, has reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes as his quarterback, and most importantly, is playing. But it's not all peaches and cream, though the NFL won't suspend Hill. The Chiefs added more to their offense in the offseason, taking on former Georgia speedster Mecole Hardman in the second-round. Sammy Watkins is also returning off of a healthy offseason.

With Hardman and Watkins surrounding Hill, and Travis Kelce acting as one of the NFL's elite tight ends, Hill isn't going to be force-fed catches. It's possible the Chiefs may look to spread their offense around more than what they did in 2018. Expect Hardman and Watkins to see considerable targets, which will helps Hill get one-on-ones opportunities and, ultimately, stay fresh.

However, Hill is an elite talent and fits the Chiefs' scheme to a tee. If any receiver in Kansas City is going to lead the NFL in receiving yards, it's Hill.
