Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is considered by many to be the greatest football player ever. But as Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs prepare to take on Brady and the Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV, Chiefs running back Le'Veon Bell has a different take.

Bell has been with Kansas City for just over three months, and he already believes Mahomes is the greatest player to grace the gridiron:

ā€œIā€™ve always watched him. I always thought he was a great player. Then I came here and then when I came here, thatā€™s when it really hit me, like oh, he might be the greatest player ever,ā€ Bell said of Patrick Mahomes, via Myles Simmons of ProFootballTalk. ā€œItā€™s the way he practices, how he goes about his business. ā€¦ I wish yā€™all could see the throws he does in practice, it would be unbelievable.

ā€œBut my idea of [him], I thought he was like a 10 before I came here. And now I think heā€™s probably like a 12. Thatā€™s about it.ā€

Patrick Mahomes still has a long and fruitful career ahead of him. But the early returns are impressive, to say the least.

The 25-year-old has led the Chiefs to the AFC Championship Game in each of his first three seasons as the team's full-time starter, including back-to-back Super Bowls. He has already racked up league MVP and Super Bowl MVP honors, and is on the cusp of helping Kansas City become the first repeat champs since Brady and the New England Patriots in 2003-04.

Needless to say, Patrick Mahomes has achieved quite a bit in his young NFL career. But his talent continues to leave peers and teammates in awe.
