Kansas City Chiefs' star Patrick Mahomes is going to watch out for Dallas Cowboys' corner Trevon Diggs in their upcoming match. Diggs currently leads the league in interceptions with eight, and he has also managed to return two of them for touchdowns. Mahomes doesn't want to be the cornerback's next victim, per Myles Simmons of NBC Sports.

The Chiefs' quarterback on Diggs:

“When you have that many interceptions that means you know what’s going on, you have an understanding of what the offense is trying to do so you definitely have to have an eye on him at all times.”

The second year cornerback has aided the Cowboys to a 7-2 record this season, good for first in the NFC East. The defense ranks ninth in the entire league, and has greatly improved thanks to defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. With a strong offense intertwined with a solid defense, Dallas could have serious Super Bowl aspirations this season.

On the other hand, Mahomes and the Chiefs haven't been playing at the high level many expected them to. The quarterback already has 10 interceptions, whereas he only threw five and six the two seasons prior. Kansas City is has still managed to sit in first place in the AFC West, but all three teams behind them aren't behind by much. Because of their return turnaround of winning three games in a row, the Chiefs are looking better, but will need to continue to play at a high-level if they want to defeat a tough Cowboys team.
