Patrick Mahomes became a richer man last week and the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is enjoying himself this week. While participating in the American Century Championship, Mahomes is seemingly having a blast in the celebrity golf tournament.

When a professional golfer happens to make a par, they are typically disappointed or stoic when they are unable to achieve a birdie. However, Patrick Mahomes — who isn't a professional golfer by any means — was able to make a putt on a par-three hole.

Instead of remaining calm, Mahomes celebrated as if he just won another Super Bowl with the Chiefs. After making the putt, Mahomes would proceed to induce a double-bogey on the final hole of the first round. Then, the reigning Super Bowl MVP would record a score of -4 in the second round of the American Century Championship.

Dating back to his days in high school, Patrick Mahomes was a spectacular athlete in multiple sports. The two sports that Mahomes took an interest in were football and baseball, with his father playing in the MLB. Of course, Mahomes would choose to attend Texas Tech to play football and the rest is history.

In his first two seasons as the starting quarterback of the Chiefs, Mahomes has been nothing short of remarkable. While he is able to lead with his play on the field, Mahomes isn't afraid to let his emotions show during the course of a game.

Seeing how he celebrated after making a decent putt, he doesn't shy away from expressing himself during a golf match either.
