Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the best gunslinger in the NFL, so it's not too much of a surprise to learn that he's leading the league in Pro Bowl voting.

According to Pro Football Talk, Mahomes has 143,355 Pro Bowl votes. The Chiefs star is ahead of Seattle Seahawks signal-caller Russell Wilson and Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook.

Patrick Mahomes, who twice has earned Pro Bowl honors, has 143,355 votes. Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson (139,839 votes) ranks second overall, while Minnesota running back Dalvin Cook (131,875 votes), Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce (127,868 votes) and Arizona receiver DeAndre Hopkins (127,039 votes) round out the top five.

Fan voting for the 2021 Pro Bowl, which won't be played this season, continues online until Dec. 17. It's safe to say that Mahomes will finish with the most fan votes.

After winning the Super Bowl last season, the Chiefs haven't slowed down in 2020. Behind Mahomes, KC is 9-1 and playing stellar football on both sides of the ball. Even though the Pittsburgh Steelers are undefeated on the season, most pundits expect the Chiefs to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl again.

Mahomes has thrown for 3,035 yards on the season. He has 27 touchdown passes and is completing 67.9 percent of his passes. The Chiefs megastar only has two interceptions.

KC will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 12.
