Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes has already had one hell of a career. He has won the Super Bowl, signed the biggest contract in NFL history, and has already been heralded in GOAT conversations.
Well, Mahomes resume just expanded a little bit as he is diving into becoming a member of an ownership group with another Kansas City sports team. According to James Palmer, Mahomes is part of the ownership group of Sporting KC.

Why wouldn't Mahomes dive into something new? After all, it's likely that he remains in Kansas City for his entire career after signing that monster contract. He is already a part-owner of the Kansas City Royals and his wife a co-owner of the Kansas City NWSL, so the Chiefs' star's decision isn't all that surprising.
This certainly won't be the last time Mahomes dives into some sort of ownership stake. As for his performance on the gridiron, the Chiefs are once again pegged as favorites in the AFC and it is entirely possible that Mahomes and Tom Brady face off once again in the Super Bowl.
Mahomes just keeps doing things, on and off the field, and truly the rich keep getting richer.
