The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to be tasked with slowing down Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, something for which Robert Saleh had to gameplan in last year's Super Bowl.

Following Saleh's hilarious advice to Tampa Bay's defensive line, Mahomes reacted to Saleh's advice on social media.

Dating back to his days at Texas Tech, Mahomes has had an awkward walk in between plays. Saleh compared his peculiar movement in between plays to an “old man jog,” telling the Buccaneers not to be fooled by the illusion that his feet could be injured.

Besides his advice on Mahomes' movement between plays, Saleh spoke about having to face the Chiefs in last year's Super Bowl when he was the defensive coordinator of the San Francisco 49ers. Saleh, who is now the head coach of the New York Jets, likened Kansas City's high-octane offense to that of a relay team due to their uncanny speed.

In all fairness, Mahomes has been dealing with an injury to his foot area as he was diagnosed with turf toe following Kansas City's divisional round matchup with the Cleveland Browns. His nagging toe ailment wasn't enough to prevent him from having 325 yards and three touchdowns in last week's showdown with the Buffalo Bills.

On the other hand, the defensive front of the Buccaneers did a remarkable job in containing Aaron Rodgers and the offense of the Green Bay Packers. They'll need to do the same when they square off against a quarterback who can single-handedly win a game despite his “old man” tendencies.
