The Kansas City Chiefs clinched a chance to face Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Super Bowl, which led to a compliment from Patrick Mahomes to Brady.

Ahead of Super Bowl 55, Mahomes spoke about what it means to face a QB of Brady's stature.

While complimenting Tom Brady on being arguably the greatest quarterback in NFL history, Patrick Mahomes made sure to poke fun at the Buccaneers' signal-caller. Even though it seems like Brady has been in 150 Super Bowls, the legendary QB will be playing in his 10th Super Bowl, extending his insane record.

There are plenty of storylines entering the Super Bowl between the Chiefs and the Buccaneers. However, it's the matchup of the greatest quarterback of all-time in Brady against the possible future greatest of all time in Mahomes.

At 25 years young, Mahomes is playing in his second Super Bowl after helping Kansas City win the title last season. On the other hand, Brady has six Super Bowl victories under his belt, with all of them coming with the New England Patriots.

In his first season with the Buccaneers, Brady tossed 40 touchdowns in the regular season and seven touchdowns in Tampa Bay's three postseason games. Mahomes didn't perform badly himself, notching 38 touchdowns in the regular season and four TDs in the Chiefs' two playoff games.

Despite being 43 years old, Brady is still playing at an extremely high level, and he is showing no signs of slowing down. With that in mind, Mahomes will hope to trim the margin of Super Bowls between him and Brady when they square off on February 7.
