The Kansas City Chiefs are holding a slim lead against the Los Angeles Chargers. It's been a tough match for the Chiefs, who struggled to pierce the Chargers' defense. The injury bug also hit: Damien Williams went back to the locker room before halftime was over.

Adam Schefter reported details that will surely cause Chiefs fans to become concerned.

It's important to remember that Williams just got back to the team after dealing with personal business, so it's possible that his personal problems are getting in the way of his on-field performance.

Williams hasn't gotten a lot of yards for his touches. He's only notched seven rushing yards over four carries while his one reception garnered him six additional yards.

Given the way he's been performing this game, it might have been better for Williams to not join the team to Mexico. However, he's been playing his best football to date. Over eight games, he has 302 rushing yards, 150 receiving yards, and a total of four touchdowns.

If he wants to stay on the field, he has to push his personal issues aside and focus on helping the Chiefs win.
