Huzzah! Kansas City Chiefs running back LeSean “Shady” McCoy is officially active for Sunday's Week 3 game against the Baltimore Ravens, according to the team's official inactive list. The veteran tweaked his ankle in Week 2 and was questionable leading up to Kansas City's big game against Baltimore.

McCoy is set to get the start with incumbent starter Damien Williams inactive. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill, guard Martinas Rankin, left tackle Eric Fisher, defensive tackle Khalen Saunders, guard Nick Allegretti and swing tackle Greg Senat are all inactive for Sunday's game.

On Baltimore's end, cornerback Jimmy Smith, safety Brynden Trawick, quarterback Trace McSorley, wide receiver Jaleel Scott, linebacker Otaro Alaka, guard Ben Power and defensive lineman Daylon Mack are inactive — a significantly healthier list than Kansas City's.

McCoy, 31, is turning back the clock for Andy Reid's Chiefs. Since he signed with the team — after his release from the Buffalo Bills — he's tallied 21 rushes for 104 yards in a committee rush attack. His 5.0 average per attempt is his most since 2016.

Though McCoy will be the focal point of Kansas City's run offense on Sunday, expect to see more of a committee approach, despite Damien Williams' inactive status. Darrell Williams should help, so will rookie Darwin Thompson — who excelled in the preseason.

Of course, Sunday's matchup isn't about the running backs; it's all about two dynamic passers. Kansas City's Patrick Mahomes and Baltimore's Lamar Jackson are each red-hot coming into Sunday. Mahomes comes in the game with a 136.3 passer rating, Jackson: 145.2.

Each has seven passing touchdowns through two games.
