The Kansas City Chiefs are one of the biggest favorites to make a run to the Super Bowl. They are slight favorites to continue their winning streak against the Indianapolis Colts, and their chances are all the more boosted with one of their wide receivers returning from injury.

Adam Schefter confirms that wideout Sammy Watkins is ready to play against the Indianapolis Colts for their Week 5 clash.

Watkins is going to be an important option for Patrick Mahomes as they attempt to grab a fifth straight victory to improve their odds of a Super Bowl title.

Watkins was listed as questionable to play against the Colts due to a shoulder injury he sustained. However, he was dropped to limited participation in practice as his condition improves. He was finally listed with a hamstring issue but got better quick enough to be eligible for the team.

He started the season with a bang against the Jacksonville Jaguars, completing 198 catching yards and three touchdowns. He's slowed down since then, with his catching yards over the next three games not exceeding 70 yards.

However, he'll be needed to provide an option for the team. After all, he's not the only important wideout who'll be returning to the starting lineup. T.Y. Hilton is listed to play and will be an important component for the Colts' own game plan.

The Chiefs need all of their weapons to succeed, and Mahomes will be happy to have Watkins back in the fold.
