Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins is listed as questionable for his team's Week 5 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night, according to Herbie Teope of The Kansas City Star.

Watkins is nursing shoulder and hamstring injuries. He had two full days of practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but was limited on Friday.

The 26-year-old has had a terrific season thus far, logging 23 catches for 365 yards and three touchdowns over the first four weeks. Most recently, he totaled three catches for 54 yards in the Chiefs' Week 4 win over the Detroit Lions.

Watkins, who played his collegiate football at Clemson, was originally selected by the Buffalo Bills with the fourth overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft.

He played in all 16 games during his rookie campaign, catching 65 passes for 982 yards and six touchdowns. He was even better in his second year. hauling in 60 receptions for 1,047 yards and nine scores.

Since then, however, Watkins has been a major disappointment.

Injuries derailed his final season in Buffalo, as he played in just eight games, and in August 2017, the Bills traded him to the Los Angeles Rams.

Watkins spent one year in Los Angeles and was thoroughly underwhelming, appearing in 15 contests and snaring just 39 balls for 593 yards while reaching the end zone eight times.

The Chiefs then signed him to a three-year, $48 million deal in March 2018, but the injury bug struck Watkins once again during his first season in Kansas City, as he participated in just 10 games and finished with 40 receptions for 519 yards and three touchdowns.
