NFL officiating has been a hotly debated topic this season. Almost every week, there's at least one game with a seemingly obvious call being blown by the referees. This week, the game with a controversial call was the Sunday Night matchup between the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs.

During the game, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce caught a pass from star quarterback Patrick Mahomes. As Kelce was coming down and starting to run, he was tackled by Broncos cornerback Kyle Fuller, who knocked the ball out. The ruling on the field was that it was not a Kelce fumble, but an incomplete pass from Mahomes.

The Broncos challenged the call, only for the referees to uphold the call in favor of the Chiefs. It was a highly controversial call, and among those who disagreed with the call was Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel, who posted a savage reply to the official Twitter account of the NFL Officiating crew.

Even the biggest of Chiefs fans cannot deny that this was a huge blown call by the officials. Kelce already had control of the ball, had two feet set on the ground, and was in a running motion to go up the field. The fact that the referees upheld the interception call even after review is a huge mistake.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will take that call gladly, though. Their offense isn't the same juggernaut that it used to be in previous years, and points have been increasingly harder to come by for this squad (with a few exceptions). Mike Vrabel be damned, this is an incomplete pass in the hearts of Chiefs fans.
