The Kansas City Chiefs are enjoying a very comfortable lead over the Houston Texans right now, and many fans will have to thank Travis Kelce for that. He's easily been the most outstanding performer for the Chiefs so far in the game against the Houston Texans.

However, there was a point in the game where they feared for Kelce's health after suffering a hamstring injury versus the Texans. While they were holding a sizeable lead at the moment, it would have been better for them if their top tight end was on the field.

Adam Teicher of ESPN was one of the first to report about Kelce's questionable condition. His words didn't exactly bring comfort to the Chiefs fans who were at the Arrowhead Stadium, trying to get an idea of the injury that hit their star tight end.

Fortunately, the injury wasn't anything serious. Travis Kelce was able to get back on the field sooner rather than later. In fact, he was able to catch a touchdown on his first play as well.

It's been a terrific season for Travis Kelce so far, especially since he wasn't even supposed to be playing. He was questionable to play with an injured knee, but he was deemed healthy enough to play. And it was a superb decision by the Kansas City coaching staff to try and risk him as he's been a revelation to them.

He's notched a strong 134 receiving yards and three touchdowns through three quarters of football, and it can balloon even further as this game goes on.
