In 2018 the Kansas City Chiefs sent four offensive players to the Pro Bowl, each of whom was also named First Team All-Pro. Their quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, won MVP and Offensive Player of the Year, led the NFL in touchdowns (50), and earned the nod as the Madden 20 cover boy. His offense led the NFL in yards (6,810), points (565), and yards per game (425.6).

It's fair to say that the Chiefs' offense was potent in 2018. Considering Andy Reid' team retained all of its core offensive pieces, it's also fair to say that Kansas City's won't skip a beat in 2019 – and could perhaps get even better.

Two-time All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce clearly believes it's possible.

“The sky is the limit for this offense,” he, per Chiefs Wire's Ed Easton Jr. “The guys who have been here, that have been here the last couple years, especially last year; we’re taking it up a level that we have in years past. You can just tell from the coaches’ excitement to their attention to detail, to how guys are reacting to their coaching. This team is going to be awesome and we’re going to have a lot of fun on the offensive side of the ball.”

The Chiefs offense still has four All-Pros from the 2019 season (Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Eric Fisher, Mitchell Schwartz), and the reigning MVP, incredibly, is only entering his second season as a starting quarterback.

In the offseason, Kansas City lost starting center Mitch Morse but added a few intriguing pieces. First-year running back Darwin Thompson has flashed in the preseason, while wide receiver Mecole Hardmon, a fellow rookie, is yet another speed merchant.
