Super Bowl LIV will feature two of the best tight ends in the NFL.  On Friday, Kansas City's Travis Kelce expressed that he sees similarities with San Francisco's George Kittle.

Per Charles Goldman of Chiefs Wire:

“I think we’re both positive guys,” Kelce continued. “We both love to play the game and at the same time, we both love life. With that comes a lot of responsibility in the tight end room, to not just be a one-dimensional player but be a utility guy in the locker room or do whatever the team needs. That’s what we’re capable of doing. In terms of similarities, I do believe the run after the catch is something. I’ve been able to have a knack since I have been in the league. Obviously, since Kittle has been in the league, he’s taken that to a whole other level.”

Kittle and Kelce have both played phenomenal this season as they helped their team reach the Super Bowl. In the regular season, Kelce had 97 receptions for 1,229 yards and five touchdowns. Meanwhile, Kittle had 85 receptions for 1,053 yards and five touchdowns.

Combined, Kelce and Kittle have seven Pro Bowls and three First-Team All-Pro nods. In the past two seasons, they have both led the league in most and second-most receiving yards for a tight end. Travis Kelce has the most with 2,565 receiving yards, and George Kittle has the second most with 2,430 receiving yards.

Both Travis Kelce and George Kittle will surely be playing in big roles this Sunday as they each try to win their first championship. Although they won’t be defending each other, they'll certainly be doing whatever they can to help their team win the Super Bowl.
